Today, Uzgidromet Director Sherzodkhuja Khabibullakhuja issued an emergency weather statement. According to him, very hot air masses from the south is expected to move into Uzbekistan on July 17-19.
Air temperature will rise to 40-43 degrees Celsius on Thursday, July 17, in the north, south and desert zone, on July 18-20 in most of the country, while reaching 44-45 degrees in the south and desert areas.
Earlier, Uzgidromet reported that the first half of the week would be moderately hot and without precipitation. Towards the end of the week, the temperature will begin to rise, in places the air will rise to 44 degrees.
