Uzbekistan exported over 26 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables to Afghanistan, the State Statistics Committee said in a report. Reportedly, in total Uzbekistan exported 1.2 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $ 747.4 million in January-October 2021.
Kazakhstan (538 thousand tons) and Russia (341 thousand tons) are top importers of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan.
The five importers of Uzbek products also included Kyrgyzstan (112 thousand tons), China (65 thousand tons) and Ukraine (28 thousand tons).
Other major markets include: Afghanistan - 26 thousand tons; Turkmenistan - 24 thousand tons; Pakistan - 23 thousand tons; Belarus - 13 thousand tons; Turkey - 11 thousand tons; Iran - 7.5 thousand tons; Azerbaijan - 7 thousand tons; Germany - 3.6 thousand tons; UAE - 3.6 thousand tons.
