The light-armored vehicle Qalqon (Shield), which was created at one of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex, has successfully passed all practical tests, the State Defense Industry Committee said in a statement.
Qalqon’s performance characteristics, manufactured from scratch as per the design documentation of industry’s experts, have been improved as a result of the tests," the statement added.
Experts have confirmed the compliance of the vehicle's tactical and technical characteristics with the requirements of the armed forces and recognized international standards.
As it became known, serial production of Qalqon has already been set up in the country.
The vehicle is now being supplied to the units of the Uzbek armed forces.
