The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkey on November 11-12 to attend the Turkic-speaking States summit in Istanbul, the presidential press service said.
The agenda of the upcoming summit meeting includes issues of expanding multifaceted relations within the Council, primarily in the field of trade, investment, "green economy", digital technologies, transport and communications, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The program of the visit of the head of state also provides for a number of bilateral meetings in Istanbul.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States was established in 2009 in order to promote comprehensive relations between the member-states.
The current members are Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan joined the organization in 2019. Hungary has observer status in the Turkic Council.
