The Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted the newly appointed Ambassador of Latvia, Reinis Trokša, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister Kamilov congratulated the Ambassador on his posting and expressed hope for his active work to enhance the Uzbek-Latvian cooperation.
The parties expressed mutual interest in enhancing political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties and exchanged views on the bilateral ties within the framework of international organizations and on certain regional issues.
