The Ministry of Health reported that Uzbekistan received the delivery of 40,000 doses of component 1 of the Sputnik V vaccine last night.
“Another 40,000 doses of the first component of the Sputnik V vaccine were delivered to our country from Russia tonight.
In April, 100,000 doses of this vaccine were given (50,000 doses of component 1, 50,000 doses of component 2)
On June 1, the 70,000-dose component 1 of the Sputnik V vaccine was delivered, and on June 10, the 70,000-dose of the 2nd component, bringing the total stock of Sputnik V vaccine in Uzbekistan to 280,000 doses. The 40,000 doses of the 2nd component is reportedly due in the coming days, the ministry concluded.
