On June 17, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted Daniel Rosenblum, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America, the ministry said.

Reportedly, the parties considered the practical aspects of the further advancing multifaceted Uzbek-American cooperation, the schedule and organizational issues of the upcoming joint events.

The parties also exchanged views on topical issues of international and regional politics.

Daniel Rosenblum was sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan on May 9, 2019. From July 2014 to July 2018, Rosenblum served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of the State Department for South and Central Asian Affairs.
