Uzbekistan Airports signed management agreements with all international airports in Uzbekistan, the company said in a statement.
Thus, Uzbekistan Airports has become a single executive authority of all airports, the statement said.
The main tasks of the company as the only authority body will be the implementation of the development strategy of all airports, the methodological management of their activities and the accumulation of financial flows for airport infrastructure development projects and the introduction of new technologies.
“A very important step has been taken for the development of airports in Uzbekistan - a legal basis has been created for the development of airports from a single center,” said Rano Juraeva, the chair of Uzbekistan Airports.
Now Uzbekistan Airports, as the management company of all international airports, will be able to fully establish work at airports.
