Today, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit as the head of the Uzbek delegation, was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Minister conveyed the sincere words and best wishes of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The parties reportedly exchanged views on the implementation of agreements reached during the high-level visits and discussed topical issues of bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
The need to tap existing potential in trade, investment, industrial cooperation, transport, energy, machinery, light industry and food industry, agriculture and water management was stressed.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the talks, the Foreign Ministry concluded.
