Meetings with officials of the UAE aviation authorities was held at the Ministry of Transport on May 19-20 this year. The sides discussed the ways to expand bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation, increasing the number of flights, launching new destinations.
Following consultations between the aviation administrations of the two countries, the following agreements were reached:
FlyDubai will increase the number of Dubai to Tashkent flights from 5 to 6 flights per week;
Air Arabia will increase the number of Sharjah to Tashkent flights from 2 to 3 flights a week;
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will increase the number of Abu Dhabi - Tashkent flights from 2 to 4 flights per week.
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has also been granted the right to operate flights to Bukhara and Urgench.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further support constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.
