A delegation of human rights activists visited the migrant detention center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow, as well as the Moscow multifunctional migration center in Sakharovo.
According to the press service of the Ombudsman, the purpose of the visit was to visit the facilities in which fellow countrymen live and work, and to study the conditions of their life and work and the quality of medical services provided to them.
On May 17, the Ombudsman Feruza Eshmatova and Director of the National Center for Human Rights Akmal Saidov met with Adviser to the President, Chairman of the Presidential Council for Human Rights and Civil Society Development Valery Fadeev, and with Human Rights Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova.
During the joint reception, more than 20 applications of labor migrants were received and legal advice was provided.
