On May 11, on the sidelines of the second ministerial meeting of the Central Asia - China format in Xi'an, Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Kyrgyz counterpart Ruslan Kazakbaev.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties exchange views on topical issues of the bilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects for regional interaction.
The ministers noted the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached at the high-level talks held in Tashkent in March this year.
The parties reportedly emphasized that thanks to the political will of the heads of state, it was possible to reach a number of significant agreements, strengthen mutual trust, expand the relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two fraternal peoples and countries.
The parties noted the importance of joint efforts for the earliest implementation of the "road map" of industrial cooperation, the project of a multimodal transport corridor and the construction of the China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan railway route.
