From September 1, 2021, a procedure has been introduced in Uzbekistan, according to which drivers will not be required to have a power of attorney (approved by a notary public) to drive a car, vehicle inspection certificate and window tint permit.
This is provided for by the May 4, 2021 resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. The changes will take effect due to the transfer of the above processes into electronic format.
At the same time, all other documents related to the above processes will also be provided only through the Single Interactive Public Services Portal (SIPSP).
The resolution also states that by July 1, 2021, the automated electronic systems of the State Traffic Safety Authority (STSA) must be integrated into the SIPSP.
As a reminder, from September 1, the country has canceled the practice of issuing vehicle inspection coupons for all types of vehicles, with the exception of vehicles traveling abroad.
