The State Tax Committee has published data on tax payments to the state budget in the Q1 of 2021 by foreign companies providing online services.
As of April 1, 2021, 26 foreign companies providing online services were registered in the country, which in Q1 of this year paid 4.3 billion soums in taxes to the state budget.
Last year, a number of companies paid taxes to the Uzbek budget, including Facebook - 5.9 billion soums, Google 3.4 billion soums, Apple -1.9 billion soums, Netflix - 190 million soums, Booking.com - 181 million soums and Yandex - 136 million soums.
Earlier, from 2020, the VAT payment procedure for foreign companies in Uzbekistan was introduced.
