The Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit last evening. He is scheduled to hold talks with the Minister of Defense Bakhodir Kurbanov, Sputnik reported.
The meeting will take place in Bukhara. The parties reportedly have several topics for discussion on the agenda: international and regional security problems, as well as issues of military and military-technical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
Sergei Shoigu arrived from Tajikistan, where yesterday, he attended the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CSTO countries and held talks with his Tajik counterpart Sherali Mirzo and the head of state.
