Yesterday, on April 26, the Deputy PM/Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Hisham bin Mishaal Al Swailem, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade said.
The parties reportedly discussed the Uzbek-Saudi ties, the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as preparation for the upcoming high-level bilateral events.
In particular, in the near future it is planned to organize a visit of an Uzbekistan government delegation to Saudi Arabia. It is planned to hold the next round of consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, as well as meetings of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council and the Uzbek-Saudi Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Youth
