The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has accepted the invitation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and will pay an official visit to Dushanbe from June 10 to 12, Asia-Plus said with reference to a source in the government of Tajikistan.
The two leaders intend to discuss the ways to advance the Uzbek-Tajik relations in all areas and also analyze the progress of implementation of the previously reached agreements.
A package of agreements is scheduled to be signed between Tashkent and Dushanbe in the fields of transport, energy, trade, finance, agriculture, culture and science.
In addition, as part of the visit to Dushanbe, a joint concert of performers of the two states - "Shomi Dusti" (Evening of Friendship) will take place.
It was reported earlier that preparations were underway for Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visits to South Korea and Russia.
