The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree approving the agreement between the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.
The agreement was signed on May 28, 2019 in Tashkent. The State Security Service was designated as the authorized body for the implementation of the agreement.
The Foreign Ministry was instructed to send Germany a notification on the implementation of Uzbekistan's domestic procedures necessary for the agreement to take effect.
