On January 20, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted the new Ambassador of Jordan, Demiye Zuher Haddad, the Foreign Ministry said.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the minister Kamilov congratulated the Ambassador on his posting and wished him success in his responsible mission. The parties reportedly discussed the state and prospects of bilateral ties in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, as well as interaction within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures.
The previous Ambassador of Jordan to Tashkent was Saleh Ahmad al-Javarneh. He held this post from July 2015 to September 2020.
