The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan on July 1 increased by 278 and reached 8,781, the Ministry of Health said.
In total, out of 278 cases, 218 were recorded in quarantine institutions, 50 among the population (35 in Tashkent, 5 in Bukhara province, 5 in Syrdarya, 4 in Khorezm, 1 in Karakalpakstan), 10 from truck drivers Arriving from abroad.
The recovery of 165 patients was reported during the day, bringing the total number of the recovered to 5847 (66%). The number of deaths has topped 27.
2907 people are undergoing treatment, condition of 18 is serious, 7 people are in extremely serious condition.
