The former Chairman of the State Tax Committee, Botir Parpiev has been appointed the Deputy Minister at the newly created Ministry of Mahalla and Family Affairs.

Today, at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, the Deputy Ministers were appointed to the newly created Ministry.

Botir Parpiev who till today served as the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council for the Coordination of Citizens' Self-Government Bodies was appointed as the Deputy Minister.

Botir Parpiev has worked in the interior ministry system in the 1990s. In 1998-2002 he worked as Deputy Interior Minister, from June 2002 to December 2002 - Minister of Emergency Situations, 2002-2004 - Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.

Botir Parpiev, who served as Chairman of the State Tax Committee since 2004, was sacked in May 2018 and later served as Deputy Chairman of the Mahalla Council.
