President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today upon arrival in the city of Nukus familiarized himself with the completed Nukus Airport modernization project.
In pursuance of the tasks set by him during the trip to Karakalpakstan in January 2017, nearly 80 billion soums worth of works were completed. The airport building was renovated, the terminal was expanded and equipped in accordance with modern standards.
Mirziyoyev noted that the Nukus Airport occupies an important place in the Karakalpakstan’s economic growth, expansion of business ties and increase in tourist inflow.
