Today at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry was held a meeting with the Deputy Director Central Asia and Eastern Europe of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Rupert Ainley.
The sides reportedl discussed the ways to expand the ties between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom, joint events, including bilateral meetings and talks at various levels.
It was noted that the parties are preparing for holding the next meeting of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council in Tashkent, which is set to boost trade, economic, investment relations and bring concrete results.
In the meeting was present the UK Ambassador Christopher Alan.
