President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today arrived in Syrdarya province, the President's press service said. The head of the state visited the province last May. The purpose of the visit is to familiarize himself with the work aimed at improving the infrastructure, changes in the social sphere, as well as projects in various sectors of the economy.
The President began his trip with the visit to the modern greenhouse of Bek Cluster in Mirzaabad district.
A multi-profile cluster, located on 18,000 ha, hosts greenhouses on 100 hectares of land. It is planned to harvest and export US$ 25 million worth of products a year.
