President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Opening the conversation, Mirziyoyev warmly congratulated Pezeshkian on his birthday and wished him good health, family well-being and continued success in his demanding public duties.
The two leaders focused on expanding their wide-ranging cooperation, in particular stepping up engagement in trade and the economy, investment, and cultural and humanitarian ties.
They also exchanged views on regional issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming events.
