At the invitation of Alexander Lukashenko, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Belarus on July 8–9, the presidential press service said.

In accordance with the itinerary, high-level talks are scheduled to take place in Minsk. The meetings will focus on the ways to further expand the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus.

Reportedly, the discussions will center on increasing bilateral trade and developing industrial cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, light industry, the food sector, and other economic fields.

Special attention will also be given to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange programs. Following the summit, the sides plan to adopt a substantial package of bilateral documents covering priority areas of cooperation.

On the eve of the visit, Minsk will also host the third Interregional Forum, featuring delegations and business representatives from the regions of both countries.
