The Ministry of Justice has officially registered the Rules for Upkeep and Operation of Residential Apartment Buildings. According to the rules, the following activities are prohibited within residential apartment buildings and their adjacent land plots:

  • Relocating or cutting down trees and shrubs without the appropriate permits;
  • Cluttering the land adjacent to apartment buildings with scrap metal, construction debris, household waste, or other refuse;
  • Tying ropes and wires to trees, hanging swings, or attaching advertisements;
  • Littering flowerbeds, lawns, and walkways;
  • Using landscaped areas, children's playgrounds, sports fields, or areas designated for elderly recreation and physical exercise as parking lots;
  • Arbitrarily reducing green spaces (such as by covering them with concrete or other materials);
  • Storing any materials on areas occupied by vegetation;
  • Spraying or watering walkways near green spaces with chemical substances harmful to plants.
