Between January and March, Uzbekistan’s airports handled 30,859 flights, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. Of these, 22,885 were international flights, while 7,974 were domestic, the Uzbekistan Airports press service reported.
Passenger traffic saw an even sharper rise, with 3,987,313 travelers served during the quarter—a 19% year-over-year jump. International routes accounted for 3,323,759 passengers, while 663,554 people traveled on domestic flights.
