Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left Doha for Washington to attend the summit of leaders of the Central Asia and the United States Donald Trump in the C5+1 format, the Uzbek President's press service said.
Reportedly, Shavkat Mirziyoyev along with his Central Asian counterparts will attend the Summit with the US President Donald Trump, meet congressmen of the Senate and House of Representatives, as well as officials of the US ministries and departments.
The C5+1 Summit is expected to touch upon the ways to further expand and strengthen the Uzbek-American strategic partnership ties in the trade, economic, investment and humanitarian areas, as well as deepening interregional cooperation between Central Asia and the United States.
The business program includes meetings and events with the participation of CEOs of major American companies and financial institutions. Following the events, a number of bilateral and multilateral documents are planned to be inked.
