In January-September 2025, the average monthly wage has reached 6 million 167 thousand soums, recording 19.2% rise to the same period last year, the National Statistics Committee said in a report.

By province, the highest gross average monthly wage was recorded in Tashkent city (10 million 379 thousand), Navoi (7 million 612 thousand) and Tashkent province (5 million 803 thousand), while the lowest in Kashkadarya (4 million 270 thousand), Surkhandarya (4 million 347 thousand) and Namangan (4 million 543 thousand) provinces.

Reportedly, the gross average monthly wage by trades:

● banking, insurance, leasing and credit brokerage - 16 million 829 thousand soums;

● information and communications - 14 million 985 thousand soums;

● transportation and storage - 9 million 382 thousand soums;

● manufacturing - 7 million 301 thousand soums;

● trade - 6 million 875 thousand soums;

● construction - 6 million 342 thousand soums;

● hotel and restaurant, cafes - 5 million 122 thousand soums;

● art, entertainment and recreation - 5 million 114 thousand soums;

● education - 4 million 188 thousand soums;

● healthcare and social services - 3 million 765 thousand soums.

Although the growth rate of salaries of teachers and doctors has accelerated, they remain below the average in the country (by 32.1 percent and 39 percent, respectively).
