The Deputy Foreign Minister Olim Abdullaev hosted the Ambassador of Latvia Gierts Jaunzems. According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the outcomes of the visit of the Uzbek government delegation to Latvia on January 27-28 of this year and agreed upon the further steps to implement the agreements reached in the area of labor migration.
At the end of the meeting, they decide to expedite the process of reviewing the intergovernmental agreement with the Latvian authorities and organize consular consultations between the relevant departments of the Foreign Ministries.
