The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people on the occasion of Independence Day of Ukrainian. The Ukrainian leader published the text of the letter on his X page.
"I sincerely congratulate you and all the people of Ukraine on the national holiday - Independence Day. I am convinced that the relations between our countries, based on traditional friendship and principles of long-term cooperation, will continue to develop in the interests of our peoples," the message says.
The President of Uzbekistan wished Volodymyr Zelensky good health, family happiness and success in his responsible work, and peace, tranquility and prosperity to the Ukrainian people.
In response, Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the congratulations and expressed confidence that the two states will continue to develop fruitful cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations for the benefit of the friendly peoples of Ukraine and Uzbekistan. I appreciate your position on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and humanitarian initiatives for the recreation of Ukrainian children in Uzbekistan, he added.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kyiv also congratulated the people of Ukraine on Independence Day. "This significant day symbolizes Ukraine's aspiration for freedom, sovereignty and unity, reflects the strength of spirit, resilience and tireless desire of the Ukrainian people for peace, stability and prosperity".
