Qo‘noq capsule hotel was officially inaugurated at Tashkent International Airport, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports said in a statement.

“Now passengers can comfortably relax while in a non-sterile area waiting to check in for their flight,” the statement said.

The mini-hotel located in the departure terminal (check-in area) has four standard single and two family double capsules.

Each capsule is an individual closed space with soundproofing, equipped with a bed with an orthopedic mattress and a set of bed linen, ventilation, adjustable lighting, sockets and USB ports for charging.

A security safe, a mirror, a clothes hanger and a screen with a clock are provided for passenger convenience. The capsule maintains an optimal microclimate, the statement said.

Prices for a standard capsule range from 400,000 to 800,000 soums, and for a family capsule - from 600,000 to 1 million, depending on the number of hours spent in it.

“The capsule hotel concept is an excellent solution for transit passengers, as well as passengers arriving a few hours before the flight from other regions or neighboring countries,” Uzbekistan Airports emphasized.

For the second year now, a hotel has been operating under the Qo‘noq brand in the sterile zone of the departure hall of Tashkent airport.
