The President Mirziyoyev signed a decree appointing Saida Mirziyoyeva as the chief of the Presidential Administration, the president’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov said today.

The president Mirziyoyev's elder daughter Saida Mirziyoyeva had served as the presidential aide since August 2023, and before that, since November 2022, she had worked as the chief of the Communications and information policies department of the executive office of the Presidential Administration. This sector was part of the system where the former deputy chief of the administration Komil Allamjonov, who was in charge of studying public opinion and media policies.

Saida Mirziyoyeva holds undergraduate degree of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a graduate degree of the Tashkent State Law University and the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and a candidate for PhD of economic sciences.

In 2019-2020, she held the position of Deputy Director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration, then Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Mass Media Support and Development Fund.

In August 2023, Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the new structure of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan. At that time, the position of the head of the PA was abolished, and two more positions of presidential aides were introduced, the number of advisers increased from 9 to 11.

The previous chief of the Presidential Administration in 2022-2023 was Sardor Umurzakov, who currently works as an adviser to the president for special assignments.
