For the first time ever an Uzbek city, Samarkand will host the UN Civil Service Forum from June 23 to 25, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies said.
The event is expected to bring together ministers, senior government officials and civil society leaders to exchange views on the future of the civil service.
The theme of the upcoming forum is “Five Years to 2030: Expediting Ce service delivery for a sustainable future”.
The Forum is being organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Strategic Reforms and the Civil Service Development Agency.
The Forum will open on UN Civil Service Day and will become a platform for high-level talks, innovative solutions and strategic cooperation aimed at improving public administration and increasing the effectiveness of the civil service.
