Uzbek physicians who visited Balkh region of Afghanistan on the Salomatlik medical aid train under the Temiryul Social Services institution are continuing their medical examination, the press service of Uzbekistan Railways said.

The Salomatlik medical aid train is equipped with 15 types of medical equipment and is staffed by a total of 28 medical workers and 5 railway specialists. Over the past 3 days, doctors have conducted medical examinations on more than 1,300 individuals from dozens of regions of Afghanistan. Of these, 576 are men, 464 are women, and 273 are young children.

Also, 50 types of medicines and hygiene products worth of 1.6 billion soums were distributed to Afghan nationals during medical examinations, which will last through December 30 of this year.
