The president of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on the media reports in foreign publications about his involvement in the shooting in Uzbekistan. He named the news about his involvement in the assassination of Kamil Allamjonov as a "political game" and "an attempt to create a conflict between Uzbeks and Chechens."

"A few weeks ago in Uzbekistan, shots were fired at a car in which the former senior official of the Presidential Administration was moving. No one was hurt. One of the suspects has already been arrested, the investigation should identify all the participants and the reasons for the assassination. However, without waiting for the results, pro-Western and some opposition publications published the version about the "Chechen trace", and then attributed this trace entirely to me," Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Chechen leader stated that he would not respond to this "provocation":

"I will not respond to these provocative things. In addition, thanks to Shavkat Mirziyoyev's rational policy course, Uzbekistan is doing well in all areas, including the information and law enforcement system. I will add that if I really plan something, I will finish it with 100 percent results.

Also, Ramzan Kadyrov assessed these reports as a political game and an attempt to create conflict between Uzbeks and Chechens.

"Chechens and Uzbeks are brotherly peoples with a common historical past. We have a lot in common. For me personally, Uzbekistan is a special and important part of the life of my dear father Ahmad Haji, who loved the Uzbek people and their manners. And I consider this information as a political game weapon of third parties and an open attempt to create a conflict between our countries. I'm sure other publications will follow West's faux pas. In any case, I and my dear brothers in Uzbekistan will find out who is behind this provocative information. In this regard, work has already started," says Ramzan Kadyrov.

Earlier on October 26 of this year at around 1:40 a.m., two unknown persons fired several shots at the car of Komil Allamjonov on Ifor Street in Qibrai District of Tashkent province. They fled the scene, the driver and Allamjonov were not injured.
