On November 10, at about 4:00 a.m., a traffic accident involving citizens of Uzbekistan occurred on the 738th kilometer of the federal highway M-5 in the Penza region of Russia, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan said.

As a result of the accident, three people died, one of whom was an Uzbek, the citizenship of the other two victims is being identified. In addition, two Uzbek nationals with injuries were taken to the Kuznetsk interdistrict hospital.

The situation is under the control of the Consulate General. Steps are being taken together with local authorities to provide the necessary medical care to the victims and organize the return of the bodies of the deceased to their homeland.

According to preliminary data from the prosecutor's office of the Kuznetsk district of the Penza region, as a result of the collision of a Chevrolet Cobalt and a KamAZ, the driver and two passengers of the car died.
