The Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum lands in Uzbekistan every year in October to organize a falconry hunt. The Crown Prince recently posted photographs of the hunt in Navoi on his Instagram page.
50 kilometers away from the city of Navoi, there is a camel conservation center belonging to the United Arab Emirates. The center was set up in April 2008 on the initiative of the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
