Uzbekistan Airways will launch on Tashkent to Lahore flights from November 15, the Dunyo reported. Reportedly, negotiations on the establishment of new flights between the cities of Uzbekistan and Pakistan are ongoing.
- The simplification of visas procedure for Pakistanis and the launch of direct flights on the initiative of the Uzbek president was a happy event for the Pakistani society, - said Honorary Consul Najib Vohra. - This is a testimony to that the policy of the Uzbek leader on restoring of ties is firm and that this process is not reversible back. It gives a new meaning to the renewed relations between our provinces. For business persons, time is the most precious commodity and non-renewable resource. As a representative of the business community, I can say with confidence that the new air flight being launched will save the time spent by the business leaders of the two countries during their trips, speed up relations, and pave the way for new joint projects.
He added that the trips allow Pakistanis to take opportunities in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, as a transport and transit hub.
