President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Turkey in October, it follows from the congratulations message of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of Independence Day.
"I am convinced that Your upcoming visit to Turkey in October will raise the bilateral ties to a new level," the message says.
"In 2017, marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, our ties have visibly revived. Our meeting in Samarkand in last November was a turning point in this respect, and bilateral ties following the high-level meetings are now dynamically developing in many areas," Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underscored.
"Promotion with You, Your Excellency of Turkish-Uzbek ties, which are based on the ancient bonds of friendship between our people, is our mutual responsibility before history," he stressed.
