Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan vow to launch joint ferry manufacturing, for further delivery for the needs of Uzbekistan. The project financing is estimated at US$ 150 million.

On August 22, Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan business forum took place in Tashkent, where a portfolio of projects worth US$ 2 billion was formed.
In addition, on August 23, within the framework of President Ilhom Aliyev's visit to Tashkent, a meeting of state leaders with business leaders of the two countries was held. 7 projects with a total value of US$520 million dollars were prepared for launch at the meeting.
