A new ministry of preschool education will be created in Uzbekistan, the minister of public education Ulugbek Inoyatov said at a meeting of the International Press Club on Wednesday.
"The President has set a task that children come well prepared to schools. Pursuantly in the future we will expand the network of pre-schools including through private and short-term pre-schools. So, a ministry of preschool education is absolutely required," the minister said.
According to him, the new ministry will deal with the methodology of teaching and upbringing of preschool age children, as well as preparing children for schools.
