Today, on June 27, an official welcoming ceremony of Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler took place in front of the central office of the Ministry of Defense.
The two national anthems were played by the military orchestra. After that, a reception was organized in the Ministry of Defense in honor of the military delegation of the fraternal people, followed by negotiations. During the talks, the Uzbek Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Bahodir Qurbonov, and the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Yaşar Güler discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and future plans.
The two Ministers focused on the results achieved during the high-level visits of the heads of state, as well as on the aspects that closely connect the countries of Uzbekistan and Turkey with each other, discussed in detail perspectives for raising bilateral military and military-technical relations to a new level and improving the qualifications of relevant specialists and agreed to further step up the ties in the areas of combat training and military education.
