U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has encountered 30,000 Chinese immigrants, 8,900 illegal immigrants from India, 7,800 from Turkey, 2,900 from Uzbekistan, 4,400 from Mauritania, 3,000 from Vietnam, and 5,600 from Guinea at the border since October 1.
13,600 Uzbekistan nationals tried to illegally enter the United States through Mexico between 2021 and 2023, taking the Uzbekistan-Turkey (Spain)-Bolivia-Colombia-Mexico-USA route.
Earlier, the US embassy in Uzbekistan issued a warning that Uzbek citizens who want to enter illegally through Mexico will not be allowed to enter the country and will be detained until the immigration case is resolved.
