May 17 marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union. On this ocassion, the presidential aide Saida Mirziyoeva posted a message on the Telegram channel.
"Our relations are gaining momentum year by year and are developing in various areas," he says.
Reportedly, the European Union is effectively supporting large-scale reforms and creative processes aimed at increasing the welfare of the population in Uzbekistan.
"Soon we are planning to create another area for cooperation," said Saida Mirziyoeva.
According to her, Samarkand city will soon host the maiden European Union-Central Asia Summit.
"This event will undoubtedly open a new page of our friendly relations," she concluded.
