The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office commented on the footage showing Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev speaking to two men in Turkey.
The caption to the footage says that the Prosecutor General was allegedly secretly talking with brothers Sherali Abdullayev and Abduvali Abdullayev, who had been put on the wanted list and fled to Turkey. In addition, it is indicated that the court found Abduvali Abdullaev’s son Rakhmatilla not guilty of committing a crime against the wholesale company Ulgurzhisavdo.
A statement from the Prosecutor General's Office says that on January 2-4, Nigmatilla Yuldashev was on vacation at his own expense in Turkey due to health reasons at the Medipol Mega clinic. He was accompanied by his longtime acquaintance Azim Zhurabaev (in the video in a black jacket).
“When the Prosecutor General was talking with Azim Zhurabaev at the clinic, a man named Sherali approached them and introduced himself. In the video they talk about the reasons for going to the clinic. Sherali Sobirzhanov said that he brought the child for treatment and explained that he came to talk to the prosecutor general because he recognized him. Thus, one person standing next to the prosecutor general in the video is Sherali Sobirzhanov, the other is not Abduvali Abdullayev, but Azim Zhurabaev,” the report says.
The press service of the General Prosecutor's Office said that Nigmatilla Yuldashev was not previously acquainted with Sherali Sobirzhanov and did not know that he was on the wanted list.
