Tashkent will host the second Ministerial Meeting of Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council on April 15. Delegations from Central Asia - Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council - UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Oman are expected to attend the event.

At the meeting, the parties will discuss the ties in the political, security, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian and environmental protection cooperation development areas and the progress of the agreements reached at the first summit of the Central Asia - GCC in Jeddah on July 19, 2023.

Also, the will also exchange opinions on the preparations for the next Central Asia-GCC Summit in Samarkand in 2025.

A joint statement is expected to be adopted at the end of the meeting.
