President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has accepted the invitation of the president Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will today land in Uzbekistan for an official visit.
During the talks in Khiva city, the two leaders are expected to discuss the ways to further strengthen the Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance ties, as well as to expand cooperation.
The counterparts will also discuss increasing the volume of the two-way trade, advancing the ties in key sectors of the economy, practical implementation of infrastructure projects in the field of transport and energy, and intensifying humanitarian exchange programs.
