Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Bekhzod Musayev and CEO of German Mangold Consulting, Klaus Mangold discussed vocational training and hiring of Uzbeks for jobs in Germany.
In particular, Klaus Mangold said that more than 1,000 hospitals in Germany were experiencing a shortage of medical personnel, isadding that there was also shortage of manpower in Germany in metallurgy, logistics and transport sectors, and to which the Minister Musayev said that Uzbekistan was ready to fill this gaps.
The parties agreed to develop a legal framework for a swift implementation of the reached agreements.
However, reportedly, the hiring process is slowing down due to language problems, and therefore it is proposed to soften the language requirements. “In particular, they said that it was necessary to cut short the duration of German language courses,” the press service noted.
In January, president Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to organize the training of about 100 thousand individuals for overseas jobs through organized recruitment. Later, the agency announced a recruitment for 50 thousand vacancies to work in Germany.
